At Glenn
Bell Fly
Fishing we teach and coach fly fishers from
beginners to advanced anglers. We have taken many of
our best clients to that "next level." From
expert casting instruction, fly selection, or
reading "trout water," we offer suggestions where we
can in a low-key, encouraging manner. We are
not high pressure guides!
This page will explain

The headwaters of the Gallatin River are
in Yellowstone National Park. The
Gallatin and Fan Creek meet up near mile
marker 22 on US Highway 191 then tumbles and
turns down the Gallatin canyon, past Big Sky
and eventually joins the Jefferson, and
Madison Rivers at Three Forks, Montana
forming the Missouri River. Depending on where you put
in, don't be surprised to see wildlife
enjoying the river also. |
The Yellowstone River

The Yellowstone River is fishable both
inside and outside Yellowstone Park.
This free flowing river has abundant aquatic
insect hatches that no other western river
has. Whether inside Yellowstone Park
or fishing in Paradise Valley, the views
from this river may find you distracted from
watching your fly.
Note:
All Yellowstone National Park guided fishing
trips are booked through Arricks Fly Shop in
West Yellowstone, Montana. |

ultimately end up feeding the Missouri
River, the headwaters of which start in
Yellowstone Park. One of the largest
rivers in America and the world, the best
fly fishing parts of the Missouri take you
into remote areas where the water flow is
just picking up steam. Fishing the
Missouri River lets you tell your friends
and family that you were at the start of one
of the worlds most important waterways. |
